Moment of Wisdom Newsletter

Life-improvement advice from a caring family therapist

Some people, whatever you tell them, they won't listen! Simply (and sadly), it is not their style . . .

For example:

  • Had Joe known how, he could have avoided relationship meltdown. Sometimes we have only one chance to take in the truth. I told him to "grow-up" and he told me to "shut-up" (only he used polite words).
  • Had Jackie taken advice, she might have found a life partner. Jackie is suffering from chronic loneliness.
  • Had Mike made the effort, depression could have been avoided. Now he is addicted to antidepressant meds.
  • Had Sue understood, she might have raised a decent kid. Her precious is now a twenty-five-year-old self-absorbed drug addict.
  • Had Sam self-managed, he would now have the career of his dreams. Now he suffers daily at his boring, pathetic job.

Moment of Wisdom Newsletter will teach you how to:

  • Communicate more effectively. Learn how to listen to understand, how to create moments of emotional intimacy and how to be the person others love to be with.
  • Understand yourself. Know how to proceed with your "strengths" and how to strengthen those "underdeveloped talents."
  • Learn to control anger. Anger poisons relationships and is a threat to your emotional and physical health. Learn to stay calm even in difficult situations.
  • Be an intimate partner with the one you love. During sex, love is king. This is one of the reasons it is so vital to a healthy committed relationship. Learn how to increase the passion and maintain desire.
  • Contribute to relationship harmony. There is no greater "loneliness" than two partners embroiled in conflict. Learn to bury the hostility and maintain the harmony.
  • Increase self-esteem. Liking yourself feels good and is a prerequisite to liking others. Get tips to increase this "feel-good" emotion.
  • Nurture positive character traits. Relationship and career success requires positive character traits. You are your most important tool—be an effective one!
  • Heal emotional injuries. We all suffer from past emotional trauma. This is the nature of life! While at the same time, we need to heal as we would from a physical injury. I am ready to help if you are ready to try.
  • Live a satisfying and healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle is the greatest tonic for happiness and health. Each of us has unique needs, while at the same time, there are universal principal that can point all of us in the right direction. Let's consider what is likely to work for you.
  • Nurture relationship loyalty. Loyalty is to a partnership as clean air and water is to the body. Know what loyalty is and how to manifest it in your relationship.
  • Be wise. Ever wonder why some people just seem to get it right—no matter what they do. They seem to have some inner light that guides them. Nurture your inner knowing and increase your ability to make life-enhancing decisions.
  • and much more . . .

Over the years, Moment of Wisdom Newsletter has enriched the lives of many. And for some, real personal and/or relationship tragedy has been avoided when its advice has been heeded. When you know what to do, you increase the likelihood of "getting it right."

I care about you and your family. That's why I am offering you this information, guidance and wisdom. The next step is up to you . . .

Wishing you the best,

Abe Kass
